Additional Information

"I find profound joy in the intricate artistry and captivating challenges of oil painting. The sheer movement of the paint, brought to life through wet-on-wet brushwork, along with the interplay of adjoining colors, holds a magical sway over me. My process often commences with the careful selection and blending of pigments on my palette, a prelude to discovering a subject that harmonizes with the spark of inspiration.

My artistic journey frequently embarks from the landscapes of my voyages, harnessing the essence of my chosen hues. These pigments become the very heartbeat of my work. Guided by these evolving palettes, I embark on sketches that capture the essence of these enchanting vistas, distilling them into refined forms. With each successive layer of color, the piece evolves, transforming in density and depth, until its dynamic spirit is unleashed."
